The spirit of Revolution was the inspiration for the 2015 festival.
Our early music concerts were focused around the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo as we explored the lost story of the French prisoners of war who were kept on parole in the Welsh border towns.
The revolutionary Francophile tastes of our founders Gwendoline and Margaret Davies inspired our modern programming, with music ranging from the impressionists to contemporary French music, including programming marking Gwendoline's foundation of the first Welsh Conservatoire.
In addition to Gregynog Hall, venues included Powis Castle, Llanfyllin Church, Llandinam Village Hall, Montgomery Church and Montgomery Town Hall.
The full colour, lavishly illustrated 80 page A4 souvenir programme is available to buy for £5 including postage and packing. It includes articles on the curation of the festival and the featured composers and events.
