Each year, the Festival is curated on a special theme drawn from the history of Gregynog and music in Wales.

2013 marks the centenary of the birth of Benjamin Britten and our season highlights the composer's Welsh connections including his appearance with Peter Pears and Osian Ellis at the 1972 Gregynog Festival.

Gregynog Festival 2013: Great Britten takes place between 20-30 June 2013 plus an additional day of programming on 22 November 2013 to mark the actual date of the centenary.  Events will be held in Llandinam, Montgomery, Kerry, Manafon, Aberystwyth and Cardiff as well as at Gregynog itself.
